Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association Meeting Minutes

The regular meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was convened on the twenty-fifth of August, two thousand twenty-three. The meeting was presided over President Smith, with members present of homeowners in presence.

After call to order, the transcripts from the previous meeting were considered and accepted with some amendments.

  • Mr. Davis, gave a summarized financial overview outlining the current situation of the homeowner association's funds.
  • Multiple homeowners raised issues regarding ongoing developments in the neighborhood, specifically the proposed community garden construction and traffic maintenance.
  • President Smith addressed the homeowner's concerns, providing updates about the plans.

After the discussion, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for September, on the same day next month.

Suggested Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The Homeowners Association is at this time discussing several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed adjustments are designed to improve the standard of life for all residents while tackling ongoing concerns and facilitating a thriving community.

  • Within the proposed amendments are guidelines related to landscaping, noise ordinances, and automobile limits.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to study the proposed amendments carefully and submit their suggestions by August 15th.
  • A public forum will be scheduled on August 3rd to examine the proposed amendments in more depth.

Further information regarding the proposed amendments can be obtained on the HOA's digital portal. Residents are highly recommended to participate in this important process.

Sherwood Lakes Garden Initiative

Our passionate community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more picturesque place to live. The Beautification Project aims to improve the visual appeal of our community by adding flowers, cleaning up public areas, and encouraging a sense of ownership.

Sherwood Lakes HOA Board Election Updates

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is right around the corner. This year, we encourage all homeowners to get involved in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will be held on Monday, October 16th, with voting taking place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Neighborhood Clubhouse.

A list of the running candidates and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and posted throughout the community by September 20th. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please contact the HOA board directly. We look forward to a successful and transparent election!

Neighborhood Watch Program for Sherwood Lakes Residents
